Zack

Zack was “that dog”. He was more human than dog. We would take him “dog” places and he would rather be with his human “pack” than play with the filthy animals. 🤣 Zack was refined in every way. He loved cheese so we bought him some “American” thinking he would love it. Well … not his refined cheese palette. He took one sniff and knew that was not real cheese and walked away. He was looking for a smooth, nutty Havarti or a smoky Gouda or some Brie with a little jam on a cracker. Zachary David (Doo Da) was one of a kind. From his expressive blue eyes to his cultured lifestyle. He was “the most interesting dog alive” and he knew it. He only loved his brother, Oliver, and the girls, Bella and LuLu. His dog pack was very limited. But his human pack was huge. Everyone loved him. He loved the beach in MA. He would run and chase seagulls always coming back to us until he lost his hearing. Then only shorter runs were allowed. He once caught a seagull … and had no idea what to do with it. He looked to us like “ok, what now?” Zack had a fierce drive for life. He survived Parvo, a spontaneous pneumothorax and MERSA. He was never sick (that he would let on) and was a fighter until we said goodbye. Here’s to Zack … he is leading his little pack over the rainbow bridge right now as they have all joined him. Love you to the moon and back Mr. Santos. 💙🐾
