Tallulah Bella (Lulu)'s Story

Tallulah was one of 9 pups that were a lab mix. Seven looked like labs and 2 looked like a lab/shepherd mix. Lulu was the latter. She showed signs of Parvo on the 3rd day I had her and when I called the rescue they told me she was the 8th pup to show signs. After being told Parvo would cut her life short, 15 years later I had to let her go. She was my survival dog. She kept me sane after I lost her brother, Dutchy, and she kept me on my toes. She was "The Princess" of her pack. Ollie and Bella would mingle with everyone and Lulu and Zack walked around like canine royalty. Lulu and I were always close but when COVID hit, I got to work the last year of her life at home. She would lay on the bed all day watching me while I worked and she would hop up and go to the back door as soon as I closed the laptop. I then realized COVID was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was blessed by this girl in so many ways. She was with me when I bought my first house by myself and she was with me when I lost both of my parents. I thought I would lose it when I had to take her for her final moments. I was put at ease because the persons at the facility were so nice. Lulu wore a t-shirt with Ollie and Zack's smells and a sweet note from them. I laid on the floor next to her and held her until she was gone. Now, all four of the pack are back together at the Rainbow Bridge. I know they are talking about their four moms and telling stories to those babies who were with us before. I miss her every single day.
